Women at the Forefront of Science Diplomacy

To celebrate the UN International Day of Women and Girls in Science, the German Embassy and the University Alliance Ruhr, in collaboration with the Women in Science Diplomacy Association (WiSDA), host a special event called ‘Women at the Forefront of Science Diplomacy’. The DWIH New York is excited to participate in the meeting and identify ways in which it can strengthen the role of women in science diplomacy.

This roundtable workshop will bring together women leaders in academia, and international diplomacy to explore:

• The role of universities and research networks in
  advancing science diplomacy
• Strategies to support female leadership
• Collaborative solutions for addressing global challenges
• Strengthening transatlantic partnerships through research and innovation
