Moving the Cities: Pittsburgh

Moving the Cities is an international immersive experience that has been reoccurring annually since 2018. It unites students, professors, industry representatives and universities from all over the world. The goal of Moving the Cities is to look at regional challenges that cities face from an international perspective.

With busy and changing cities come challenges in our communities. This is where we live and where innovation must play a role. The Moving the Cities project aims to bridge the gap between universities and industry through technology, science, entrepreneurship, innovation, and society. Teams comprised of students from more than 4 countries including Germany, Brazil, England, and the United States work together to address regional sustainability challenges through an international lens.

The 2024 program is hosted by the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, PA and supported by DWIH New York.
