Nowadays these technologies not only exist, they find application in fields as diverse as entertainment and training, medicine and engineering, quality control and manufacturing. Possibilities for development appear to be limitless. Such immersive technological advancement forces new perspectives on our cultural, societal, legal, conceptual and ethical frameworks.
This event will take a close look at a wide range of perspectives from different cultures, industries, and professions, to give the audience a full picture of XR. Panelists will discuss its current state and future potential as well as the challenges it faces and the concerns it raises. The symposium will examine the technological status quo as well as the use cases while considering social, ethical and legal implications and boundaries.
