Entrepreneurship Education

On February 4, 2025, DWIH NY will host a network exchange on “Fueling Innovation on Campus” with members of the University of Rostock’s Center for Entrepreneurship (ZfE) and the Center for Digital Innovation Rostock (DIZ).
The Center for Entrepreneurship is dedicated to fostering entrepreneurial thinking and action. As a central point of contact for aspiring entrepreneurs at the university, the ZfE team supports students, graduates, and academics at the University of Rostock—from developing an initial idea to launching a business.
DIZ Rostock drives digital transformation in Rostock and the surrounding region. The center offers free workshops, seminars, and training courses to support businesses, academia, and public administration in their digitalization efforts while fostering connections within the community. A particular focus is on supporting founders with digital ideas as a source of inspiration.
Both centers are working on their internationalization strategy to support regional projects, build networks, connect start-ups, and foster exchange between the Rostock/Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania region and the USA.
