Around 90 researchers are involved in the SAIL research network, a four-year joint project, receiving up to 14.8 million euros of funding from the North Rhine-Westphalia state government. About 35 researchers from the Hasso Plattner Institute (HPI) and the Morningside Academy for Design (MAD) at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) celebrated the launch of the joint research program “Designing for Sustainability” at a workshop on the MIT campus in Cambridge, MA (USA) on March 27 and 28.
