The European Physical Journal D “Atomic, Molecular, Optical, and Plasma Physics” published a Special Issue entitled “Electron-Driven Processes: From Single Collisions to High-Pressure Plasmas” that honored Professor Emeritus Kurt H. Becker (Applied Physics, MAE, CUSP) on the occasion of his 70th birthday.
Along the same lines, the Tandon Department of Applied Physics, the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, and CUSP organized a 1-day Symposium reflecting on Professor Becker’s research career on September 29.
The DWIH New York congratulates Prof. Becker and thanks him for his long commitment as Chair of the Advisory Board.
