UROP International at RWTH Aachen
For the first time since the pandemic, UROP International, RWTH Aachen University’s popular program for North American undergraduates is taking place in-person in Germany again.
UROP International is a ten-week long short-term program for bachelor students from North American universities who wish to gain research experience at RWTH Aachen University taking place every year during the middle of May and the end of July. The program consists of three components: a research project at one of RWTH Aachen’s research institutes, a German language course, workshops on intercultural learning, scientific methods and research practices, as well as the chance to participate in a number of leisure activities to get to know German history and culture.
For the first time since the pandemic, UROP International will take place as an in-person program again and RWTH Aachen University is looking forward to greet 34 students from various North American partner universities such as the University of Pennsylvania, Georgia Institute of Technology, the University of Florida, the University of Alberta, or the University of Waterloo.
