Germany Today Tour 2022

The DAAD invites representatives from universities, research institutions and funding agencies in the United States and Canada, as well as colleagues from the fields of education policy and politics, to join them for the “Germany Today” Information Tour 2022 from June 19 to 24, 2022. This year’s tour will focus on the involvement of German Institutions in European University Alliances.
Who is it for?
- senior administrators at US or Canadian universities
- policy makers in government or associations
- other experts in higher education
Administrative requirements:
- U.S./Canadian citizenship or permanent residency
- proof of full COVID-19 vaccination plus booster shot
- interest in Germany and transatlantic cooperation and a relevant professional position
- should not have recently participated in another information trip to Germany
Program and itinerary:
- on-site visits of higher education institutions in Freiburg, Strasbourg (F), Karlsruhe, Heidelberg, Darmstadt, and Mainz
