Germany Today Alumni Conference

The DWIH New York is thrilled to expand its work into Canada!

We extend our sincere thanks to our colleagues at DAAD for inviting us to participate in a closed-door session with a select group of alumni at the Germany Today Alumni Meeting, which will take place at the University of Ottawa in Ontario, Canada, from October 3–6, 2024.

This event will bring together Germany Today alumni and European experts for thematic discussions on contemporary issues. We are pleased to announce the following presentations on October 4:

• Christian Strowa, Director of DWIH New York, will speak on Research Security.
• Dr. Jan Lüdert, Head of Programs at DWIH New York, will discuss Shifts in International Academic Mobility and Geopolitical Conflicts.

DAAD’s “Germany Today” information tour provides participants with a comprehensive overview of Germany’s higher education landscape. It covers a range of topics including Germany’s higher education and research system, recent developments, innovative projects, structural reforms, details on BA, MA, and PhD programs, universities’ internationalization strategies, institutional cooperation within strategic networks, partnerships with corporate entities, and funding opportunities for academic exchange and collaboration.
